SuiteHUD AI Tips and Limits
Plans: Pro
Tips
- Leave the model on Auto. It uses the cheaper models when they're enough. Pin Opus only for a genuinely tangled problem.
- Start a new chat when you change subject. Shorter chats give sharper answers and cost less. The old chat stays in your history, unless it was Incognito.
- Attach the record before asking about it. On a new chat, click Attach on the record chip. Later in a chat, type /sendrecord. Either way, the AI works from the record's real fields.
- Click a record link in an answer to open it beside the page you're on.
- Teach it once. If you find yourself explaining the same task every month, save it as a lesson.
- See what it can do right now. Open ⋯, then All tools. A filled dot means a tool is available on this page.
Known limits
- SuiteHUD AI needs a Pro plan. Turn on SuiteHUD AI in Settings, on the AI tab, before you use it.
- Without the NetSuite AI Connector, the AI can only work with the page you're on and SuiteHUD's own tools.
- The connection is for one NetSuite account at a time. On a tab for another account, NetSuite tools are switched off until you reconnect.
- The AI only sees what your sign-in role can see.
- A workflow button only works if its workflow action has Expose to Record Action API ticked in NetSuite. Ask your administrator.
- You can attach up to five files per message, 20 MB in total. Text from text files, spreadsheets, and Word and PowerPoint files is cut off after 100 KB.
- Haiku can't read PDFs, so a message with a PDF always goes to Sonnet, even on Auto or with Haiku pinned.
- Very long chats are summarized as they grow, so early details can slip. Use Free up memory or start a new chat.
- Saved chats keep their text, but not their attachments or tool results.
- The AI can make mistakes. It isn't accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Check anything important against NetSuite.
