AI Lessons and Playbooks

Plans: Pro (team sharing: Enterprise)

When the AI does a task well, you can save it as a lesson and run it again with a short command such as /capitalizecip. A playbook is a lesson made of steps: you can watch it run step by step, and decide which steps the AI does on its own.

Saving a lesson from a chat

To teach SuiteHUD a task:

  1. After the AI has done the task the way you want, click Teach SuiteHUD this under its answer, or in the ⋯ menu.
  2. The AI drafts the steps. To change anything, say so in the chat, for example "ask me for the period first".
  3. Click Create, or Open in Studio to fine-tune it first.

Nothing is saved until you click Create. If a lesson is already running in the chat, the button reads Update lesson from this instead, and updates that lesson.

Running a lesson

  • Type / and the lesson's name, such as /capitalizecip, or click Lessons under the message box.
  • If the playbook needs answers up front, a Before I start card asks for them. It fills in your previous answers from this browser. Dates always start at today.
  • The run card above the chat shows each step as it happens.

When a step set to AI, you confirm is ready to write to NetSuite, the run stops at a card that says what will happen. Click Confirm and write to go ahead, or Not yet to change something. Steps that only need your approval show Confirm.

To stop for a while, click pause on the run card. Click Resume to carry on from the same step, or End run, then End run again, to stop for good. Steps that are already done stay done, and nothing written to NetSuite is undone.

When the run finishes, you get a summary with Run again, Update from this run and Edit.

Managing lessons

Click More, then AI Lessons (under Workflow), to see all your lessons.

  • Click ▶ to run a lesson, or open its ⋯ menu to edit, share or delete it.
  • Switch to Studio to edit a playbook's steps. For each step you choose Who does it: You, AI, you confirm or AI, auto. Some choices aren't available for some steps. For example, AI, auto on a step that writes records needs your organization's permission.
  • Confidence shows how each step has gone in recent runs, and suggests steps that are ready to hand over.
  • Share or publish…, then Submit for Public Review, puts a lesson forward for the public library. On Enterprise you can also choose Share with Team.
  • Runs you've paused are listed at the top, under Paused & in progress, with Resume and End.

Important: Deleting a lesson deletes its run history and saved versions too. It can't be undone.
