Asking SuiteHUD AI

Plans: Pro

Ask in plain words, the way you'd ask a colleague. The AI keeps track of the conversation, so you can follow up with "why?" or "now do the same for last month".

Asking about the record you're on

To ask about a record:

  1. Open the record and click the ask box on the SuiteHUD bar.
  2. To give the AI the record's fields up front, type /sendrecord. In a new chat in the chat panel, you can click Attach on the record chip instead.
  3. Type your question and press Enter.

The AI can also look at the page itself when it needs to. If you go to a different record mid-chat, send the new one with /sendrecord so the AI isn't working from the old one.

While the AI is working with the chat panel closed, you can carry on in NetSuite. The bar shows how it's going: Working…, the AI's question when it needs your answer, Answer ready, or Couldn't finish. Click the button next to it to open the chat.

Shortcuts in the message box

  • Type / to pick a built-in tool, such as /runfieldmap, or one of your saved lessons. Tools are blue; lessons are purple.
  • Or click Tools under the message box to add a tool such as Run Field Map, or Lessons to run one of your lessons straight away.
  • Attach files with the paperclip, drag them onto the panel, or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V. You can attach up to five files per message, 20 MB in total: images, PDFs, Excel files, Word (.docx) and PowerPoint (.pptx) files, and text files such as CSV.
  • To dictate, click the microphone when the box is empty. Your browser handles the speech. You can turn this off with Voice input in Settings.

Answering the AI's questions

Sometimes the AI asks you to choose, for example which record or which period. Click an option, or type your own answer. Not now skips the question.

Chat history

  • Click + to start a new chat. The last one is kept in your history.
  • Click ⋯, then Chat history, to reopen a past chat. Click Continue chat to pick up where you left off. Attachments and tool results from the old chat aren't brought back.
  • In ⋯, turn on Incognito before you start, to keep messages out of your history. It stays on until you turn it off. To always start that way, turn on Incognito by default in Settings.

Chats are kept for 90 days, then deleted. Only you can see them. To remove them sooner, use Delete all history in Chat history.
