Yes. It remembers earlier messages within the same conversation, so you can ask follow-ups without repeating context. Your past conversations are also saved with titles — open the history list in the panel to revisit any earlier chat. Click the trash icon in the panel header to clear the current conversation, or export it as text or JSON from the same header. If you move to a different record mid-conversation, use /sendrecord to refresh the context.

By default it runs on Auto, where a lightweight classifier picks the most efficient model for each request. You can override this with the model pill in the panel to cycle and pin Auto, Haiku, Sonnet, or Opus. Haiku is the fastest and cheapest, while Opus is the most capable.

How am I billed, and how do I see costs?

Two options. With SuiteHUD billing, usage is charged in credits (1 credit = $0.01) and you can see your remaining balance. Alternatively, choose BYO API Key to use your own Anthropic API key, in which case usage is billed to your key. Either way, each reply shows the model used, an estimated cost, credits charged, and your remaining balance. On Enterprise, teams also have a shared team credit balance that admins can distribute to members' personal balances.

Will I get charged for something expensive without warning?

No. For larger requests, the assistant shows a confirmation with the estimated cost and your remaining balance before proceeding. Credits are consumed per response, based on the model used and the amount of data sent. A Stop button also appears while it's working so you can cancel a response that's taking too long.

How can a team control its members' AI usage and cost?

Team admins manage all of it from the team page on suitehud.com, and what they set applies to every seat on the team: Choose which models members are allowed to run, set the default, and lock the model picker so every request routes to that default. Restricting the team to cheaper models is the most direct cost control.; Decide how the cost warning behaves — confirm every time an expensive model runs, never warn, or let each member decide for themselves.; Fund everyone from one shared team credit balance. Distribute credits to individual members or split them evenly, see how much each member has left, and choose whether members may draw on the team balance when their own runs out.; Set whether conversations can be private (incognito) and whether AI Memory is on, off, or the member's choice — with a separate purge for deleting AI Memory notes across the team.; Override any of these for one member without changing the team default. These rules are enforced on SuiteHUD's servers rather than in the client, so they hold even if someone alters their own copy. A change reaches your members' machines within about five minutes.

Where do my messages and credentials go?

Your messages are sent to the AI through SuiteHUD's service, and when you attach record context that data is included too. That's why you consent before enabling the feature. Your Anthropic API key and NetSuite tokens are stored encrypted on SuiteHUD's backend, not inside the browser extension, so the extension never holds them. When you send record context, values like tokens, emails, and phone numbers are automatically redacted and sensitive URL parameters (session, auth, and CSRF values) are stripped first.

It means the assistant is working with SuiteHUD's built-in tools, but the NetSuite data tools aren't currently available. This happens either because you haven't connected NetSuite, or because your NetSuite session expired. The assistant keeps working either way, so use the Connect or Reconnect link in the banner to enable or restore the NetSuite connection when convenient.

SuiteHUD is designed with data minimization in mind. SuiteHUD never reads your NetSuite record data — transactions, financial records, and entity data — off the page and sends it to its servers. What does reach SuiteHUD's backend is your personal tool settings (shortcuts, report package definitions, preferences) and content you write yourself in optional features: Notes and Tasks you create, and SuiteHUD AI conversations, which are saved as chat history by default once you've opted into AI (you can turn history off per conversation or entirely, and delete it any time). SuiteHUD AI itself is off by default and requires explicit opt-in; when used, SuiteHUD sanitizes NetSuite page context before sending, stripping sensitive parameters like tokens and session values from URLs and redacting obvious token patterns. Open your Account page. Grab your personal link or code and share it however you like, or fire off an email invite straight from the page. The tracker underneath shows everyone you have invited and how far along they are — invited, signed up, installed, paying — so you can see who is nearly over the line. Email invites hold that address for 30 days, and you can send up to 20 a day.

How long do the monthly referral credits keep coming?

For as long as they stay. There is no limit on how many referrals can be earning for you at once, no end date on any of them, and they all run in parallel — the credits just keep arriving in your AI balance month after month, and only stop if that customer moves on. Each one is worth about $1.00 of AI usage a month at $0.01 a credit, which quietly adds up in the background while you get on with your day.

This is the half most people notice first. Every referred Pro customer banks you a free month, up to 6 in a rolling 12 months. It comes off your next Pro bill automatically — and if you are not subscribed when it lands, it extends your Pro access instead, so it is never wasted. It is a proper full month too, AI credit allowance and all, not a watered-down version. They do expire a year after you earn them, so enjoy them rather than hoarding them.

What if I introduce a whole company rather than one person?

Introduce a company paying for at least 5 seats and you earn 100 AI credits for every paid seat they hold, on top of the usual 100 credits a month while they stay. Anything smaller counts as an ordinary referral. What you get off your own bill depends on how you subscribe: On a team: your team gets a month comped, up to the number of seats you already pay for.; Subscribed to Pro on your own: your Pro goes free, and stays free for as long as at least one company you introduced keeps paying.; Not subscribed yet: a free month, banked and waiting for whenever you decide to start.Seat credits above 2,000 — a company with more than 20 paid seats — get a quick check from us before they land.

What if someone else already invited the same person?

First invite wins. Everyone can only be linked to one referrer, so if two of you reach the same person, whoever got there first takes it. You cannot refer yourself, and colleagues who would simply be joining your own team do not count — add those from the Team page instead. And if someone forgot to use your code when they signed up, it is not necessarily lost: they can still add it from their Account page, as long as they have not paid for anything yet and your code already existed when they created the account. Once they have subscribed, that door closes.

What happens if a referred customer stops paying or their payment is reversed?

If they simply move on, the monthly credits stop there and everything you have already earned stays yours. The only time anything is taken back is when a payment is reversed — a refund or chargeback means the money never really arrived, so that referral stops counting and any reward from it you have not spent goes with it. Rare, and never a surprise.
