Shortcuts Tips and Limits
Plans: All plans
Tips
- Shortcut a filtered view. Set up a saved search or list exactly how you like it, then use Use this page. The shortcut brings you back to that view.
- Name for sorting. Shortcuts are listed A–Z within a group. If you want some at the top, start their names with a number, such as "1 AP Aging".
- Build a month-end group. Create a group called "Period Close" and put everything you need at month-end in it.
- Use the wheel for your top 8, and the panel for everything else.
Known limits
- Shortcuts can only open NetSuite pages, not other websites.
- A shortcut opens in the tab you're in. Ctrl+click doesn't open a new tab.
- You can't reorder shortcuts inside a group; they're always sorted A–Z. You can reorder groups.
- Removing a shortcut can't be undone. To get a shortcut back, including one that came with SuiteHUD, go to the page and add it again with Use this page.
- Removing one of SuiteHUD's shortcuts only removes it on this computer.
- If you change a shortcut, the Shortcut Wheel doesn't update. Clear that slot and fill it again.
- Renaming a group to the name of an existing group merges the two groups.
- A shortcut to one specific record or saved search opens whatever has the same ID in the account you're in, so it may open something different in your sandbox.
