Using the Shortcut Wheel
Plans: All plans (some tools need a paid plan)
The Shortcut Wheel pops up under your mouse pointer and holds up to eight favourites. A slot can hold one of your shortcuts, or a SuiteHUD tool such as Field Map, File Preview or Search Studio.
Opening the wheel
You can open it in any of these ways:
- Press Alt+Shift+S.
- Right-click anywhere in NetSuite and choose Shortcut Wheel.
- Click Shortcut Wheel at the bottom of the Shortcuts panel.
To close it, press Esc or click anywhere outside it.
Filling a slot
To fill a slot:
- Open the wheel and click an empty slot (dashed outline).
- Choose a tool or a shortcut.
- Click Save.
To change a slot:
- Click − below the centre of the wheel.
- Clear the slot you want to change.
- Click − again, then fill the slot again.
Tips
- Point to a slot to see its name. Shortcuts show a short code, such as JE for Journal Entries.
- If a shortcut has a new link, point to its slot and click the small + to open a blank record.
- Drag the logo in the middle to move the wheel out of your way.
- A greyed-out tool doesn't work on the page you're on. For example, Transaction Insight needs a transaction.
Changing the hotkey
The key button next to Shortcut Wheel, at the bottom of the Shortcuts panel, shows your current hotkey. Click it to open your browser's shortcut settings and choose a different key.
If it shows Set a hotkey, the default was already taken by another extension or app, so you'll need to pick one.
