Adding and Managing Shortcuts

Plans: All plans (sharing is Enterprise)

Adding a shortcut

To add a shortcut:

  1. In NetSuite, go to the page you want a shortcut to.
  2. Open the Shortcuts panel and click Add Shortcut.
  3. Click Use this page. The address and the page title are filled in for you.
  4. Give it a name you'll recognise, and pick a Group.
  5. Click Add shortcut.

Tip: For a one-click new link on the row, click Add a "new record" link, then Suggest. SuiteHUD works out the create-form address for you.

Tip: Adding several shortcuts at once? Use Add & next. It saves the shortcut and keeps the form open.

Editing or removing a shortcut

Point to a row and use the icons on the right:

  • Pencil edits the name, group or address.
  • ✕ removes the shortcut.

Important: Removing a shortcut takes effect straight away. You won't be asked to confirm, and it can't be undone. If you remove or edit one of the shortcuts SuiteHUD provides, the original can't be brought back. You can only re-add it yourself.

Organizing groups

  • Reorder: drag a group by its header.
  • Rename: click the pencil next to the group name. This works on any group, including the ones SuiteHUD provides.
  • Create: click New group at the bottom of the list.
  • Move a shortcut to another group: edit the shortcut and change Group.

A group disappears once it has no shortcuts left in it.

Sharing with your team

Enterprise teams only. Click ↪ on one of your own shortcuts, pick teammates, and click Share. They get it in Notifications, where they can Accept or Decline. Each teammate gets their own copy, so any changes you make later aren't passed on to them.
