Shortcuts
Plans: All plans
Shortcuts get you to the NetSuite pages you use most in one click, without going through the NetSuite menus. They can point to lists, saved searches, reports, setup pages or a specific record.
There are two ways to use them:
- The Shortcuts panel. Your full list, sorted into groups.
- The Shortcut Wheel. A ring of up to eight favourites that you open with a hotkey from any page.
Opening the panel
On the SuiteHUD bar, click More, then Shortcuts (under Workflow). If you use the collapsed HUD, click the Shortcuts tile instead.
Using it
- Click a shortcut's name to go to that page.
- Some rows also have a small new link. It skips the list and opens a blank record, such as a new journal entry.
- SuiteHUD starts you off with common pages: journal entries, vendor bills, chart of accounts, subsidiaries, scripts, workflows, saved searches and more. You can edit or remove any of them.
Good to know
- Shortcuts can only point to pages inside NetSuite.
- Shortcuts work in both production and sandbox accounts.
- A shortcut opens in the tab you're in.
- Inside a group, shortcuts are always sorted A–Z.
- Sign in to SuiteHUD and your shortcuts follow you to any computer. Without signing in, they're saved on this computer only.
