Reporting Packages Tips and Limits
Plans: All plans (running a package: Pro)
Tips
- Make month-end one click. Build your close pack once, set Period to Last closed period, then click Save as default. From then on, it's Export, then Run.
- Run one package for each entity. Pick a different Subsidiary each time you run it. The Run parameters sheet shows which one each file is for.
- Choose consolidated or a single subsidiary. The subsidiary list offers both a consolidated parent and every single subsidiary.
- Need a report with different dates? Click its label in the run sheet and give it its own period, such as a prior-year comparison.
- Find your downloads again. Your finished exports also appear in Notifications, where you can download them again later.
Known limits
- Only financial reports and saved searches can be filtered by period or subsidiary. Workbooks always run as saved.
- A saved search can only take a period if it has a date filter. If it doesn't, it shows No date filter · as saved. Add a date filter to the search in NetSuite.
- Reports always run in the order you added them, and you can't reorder them. Remove a report and add it again to move it to the end.
- If SuiteHUD can't read your accounting periods, the relative periods aren't available. Fixed dates still work for saved searches.
- Only one package can run at a time.
- Only your most recent exports are kept for downloading again.
- A shared package is a copy. Changes you make after sharing don't reach your teammates.
