Previews, Single Reports and Quick Packages

Running a package isn't the only option. You can look at every report before exporting, export one report on its own, or gather reports as you go without building a package.

Previewing a package

HUD Preview opens every report in the package in its own tab, all grouped under the package's name. Use it to check the numbers, or to change a report's filters by hand.

To preview a package:

  1. Click the package's HUD Preview button and confirm.
  2. Look through the tabs and change any report as you need.
  3. To download them all as one file, click Download Package on the SuiteHUD bar in any of the tabs. This needs Pro.

Exporting one report

Open a package, hover the report and click Export. You get that report on its own, as saved.

Quick Packages

A Quick Package gathers reports while you work, without saving a package. Use it for one-off requests.

To build a Quick Package:

  1. On a report or saved search, click the SuiteHUD button next to NetSuite's Excel export button, then Add to Quick Package.
  2. The first time, give it a name if you like, then click Capture.
  3. Go to the next report and do the same. Each one is added to the same Quick Package.
  4. When you're done, click Download Quick Package on the SuiteHUD bar.

The Quick Package ends when you download or dismiss it.
