Building a Package
Plans: All plans
Create a package, then add reports to it. The easiest way to add a report is from the report itself while you have it open.
Creating a package
To create a package:
- Open Reporting Packages and click Create New Package.
- Type a name, such as "Month-End Core Package".
- If you're on a report, tick Start with this page to add it straight away.
- Click Create package.
Adding a report you have open
To add the report you're looking at:
- On the report or saved search, right-click anywhere and choose Add to Report Package. You can also click the SuiteHUD button next to NetSuite's Excel export button (Add to SuiteHUD package), then Add to Report Package.
- The panel opens with your packages. Click Add here on the one you want, or New package with this report.
A package that already has this report shows ✓ Already in.
Adding a report from the panel
- Open a package, then click Add report.
- Click Use current page, or fill in a Name and paste the URL.
- Click Add report, or Add & next to add another.
Tip: Give each report a name that makes sense to you. It doesn't have to match what NetSuite calls it.
Changing a package
- Rename a report or change its link: click the report in the package.
- Remove a report: hover it and click Remove from package.
- Rename the package: click ⋯, then Rename.
- Share it (Enterprise): click ⋯, then Share with team, and choose your teammates. They get their own copy. Changes you make later aren't sent to them.
To delete a package:
- Click ⋯, then Delete package.
- Confirm.
Important: Deleting a package or removing a report can't be undone. To get a report back, add it again.
