Opening Pages with Page-in-Page
Plans: All plans
Page-in-Page opens a NetSuite page in the side panel, so you can check it without losing your place. To save space, the page opens without NetSuite's menus. You can click around in it as usual.
Opening a page
Use whichever is handiest:
- Right-click any link and choose Open Page-in-Page.
- Click the side-viewer icon next to a transaction in a list, saved search or sublist. Its tooltip reads Open in SuiteHUD side viewer.
- Ctrl+Shift+click a link (Cmd+Shift+click on a Mac).
Links in Transaction Insight and in SuiteHUD AI answers also open here.
Stepping through transactions
When you open a transaction with the side-viewer icon, ◀ and ▶ move through the other transactions on the page. The icon next to the transaction you're viewing stays highlighted, so you can see where you are in the list.
Tip: This is a quick way to review a batch without opening each transaction, such as every bill in an approval queue.
Pinning pages
Pins let you switch between a few pages without having to find the links again.
To pin a page:
- With the page open in the panel, click the pin icon (Pin current page).
- Type a name in the box that appears, then press Enter. If you skip this step, pins are named "Page 1", "Page 2" and so on.
To go back to a pinned page:
- Click Pinned ▾.
- Choose the page.
On a pinned page, ◀ and ▶ move between your pins. To rename a pin, open it and change the name in the box.
Important: Pins last only until you leave or reload the page you're working on. You can have 10 pins at a time; pinning an 11th removes the oldest.
