Managing Team AI Policy

Plans: Enterprise

Set the AI options your team can use, then make exceptions for individual members. Sign in as a team admin.

Setting the team default

  1. Open Team, then AI and Member policy.
  2. In Org default, choose the allowed models and default model.
  3. Review the cost warning, incognito, AI memory and voice options. Lock the model picker if members should not change the model themselves.
  4. Click Save org default.

The default model must be one of the allowed models. Let members decide a setting where you do not need a team-wide rule.

Making exceptions

Open Per-member settings, choose the member, and edit and save their settings. A member's explicit choices here take precedence over the org default; settings they inherit continue to follow it.

Use Save as Role on a member's saved settings to name a combination you want to reuse. Use Apply Role to give that combination to another member.

Important: Changing or deleting a saved role does not change the settings already given to members. Review each affected member separately.

Checking the result

Members can open Team Policy in their account to see the policy that applies to them. Allow about five minutes for their extension's displayed settings to refresh.

Turning AI memory off stops the feature but does not delete existing notes. Use the separate Delete AI Memory controls only when you intend to remove those notes.

Important: Deleted AI memory cannot be restored.
